Gamestuff and missed opportunities.

Well, not that anyone really cares, but I just joined up with GameFly to a) get a chance to play a few games that I wanted to, 2) get a little variety in my games without spending a ton of money, and iii) to try it out. I’ve been with NetFlix since January of 2003, and I’ve loved it.  In those 2 and a half years I’ve gone to Blockbuster 3 total times.  Twice because they were having a pre-viewed DVD sale, and once to return something that the ex had rented for the boy.  I have a nice queue rotation system, 5...

A Gamer's Perspective of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided and Sony Online Entertainment

<Disclaimer> First of all, to my regular blog readers (all 5 of you!):  This post is regarding my decision to stop playing Starwars Galaxies.  Some of it will not be germane to anything you care about.  However, my intent is to point out the good and bad of my gameplay experience with SWG from the perspective of a gamer and a software developer, and hopefully this post is useful in that regard to a more general audience. </Disclaimer> Well folks, it's time for Logan-V and Thorin to sign off for good.  I've been neglecting the game lately, primarily because of work and Halo...

More Halo 2: The Bungie Site

Scott Hanselman blogged it the other day, but I just got on live today so I checked it out.  And holy crap! In short, the site r0x0rz! Speaking of r0x0rz, I hate getting my ass totally fragged by 12 year olds named l33tPwnzer and XXSn1p3rXX.  It really makes me feel like less of a man. My stats are improving throughout the day, but I'm much better with...

It's here...

I woke up this morning and it was like Christmas.  I went and checked the TV room even before I took a piss, and there it was, in all it's glory... HALO 2! The roommate was out and about to purchase it last night.  He went to play it at a buddy's house, so I didn't wake up, because unlike him, I have a day job.  But it's here.  It's on the couch.  It's waiting for me to come home today.  Master Chief is calling me.  This is going to be a great night.
