Jason Salas blogged about his favorite movie scenes. Most are quite good. Here, since I know you care, are mine:
  • This is your wake up call Buddy, go to work. Yep, I have one from Wall Street too, and while I do like "Greed is Good", nothin' says it all like "money never sleeps pal". Did you just make $800K in Hong Kong Gold?
  • Act as if. while on the stockbroker tip, I love the scene from Boiler Room where Affleck comes in and throws down on the recruits.
  • Don't open your mouth if you don't know the shot. Glengarry Glen Ross, Pacino bitches out Spacey for blowing his cover and consequently his sale. The whole scene where the cops are interrrogating is just about perfection.
  • Charlie you fucking bitch, let's work this out. John Cusack at his sullen finest in High Fidelity. That line kills me every time.
  • The "Fuck You" monologue.25th Hour. 'Nuff Said
  • I play hockey and I fornicate because they're the two most fun things to do in cold weather. Skank Martin confesses his sins to the mayor in Mystery, Alaska, and dedicates the game against the Rangers to him. A moment of touching reality from the guy who is pretty much the comic relief in the movie.

And, the guilty pleasures. These aren't by any means good or great, and they may come from crappy movies, but I love them nonetheless.
  • Truly you have a dizzying intellect. Princess Bride. You know of what I speak.
  • The BLT Drive went AWOL.Hackers. Man I love that movie. It's so bad. The scene where he social engineer's "Norm" from security into giving him the number for the modem (the little boxy thing with switches)...he really is Zero Cool
