For those of you who didn’t wade through the comment war on my earlier post.  I would like to apologise to Kasia for A) being imprecise and spelling her name as Kaisa several times and 2) Making it seem like I was singling her out, attacking her, or doing anything more than using her post as a building block in my rant.  I actually had seen the google-bomb thing a few times, also on the Bad Astronomy blog and elsewhere.  Just hers was the one I was reading at the time I decided to make a post.  Think of it as the gift of google juice.

Sometimes I post in the heat of the moment when I have a good rant going and don’t really go back and edit the content to make it better.  I realize that I didn’t provide a very good segue from the ID google-bomb to the religion/secularism holy war…which was my real point…so…you know…my bad.

I’m gonna go write code now…where I can’t offend many people. (yes…if there’s a way to offend by writing code, I’m sure I will find it).
