Tonight begins the 7 game season between my beloved Sox and the Bronx Buttplugs.  All tied up.  Both teams have a series against Tier-2 teams, and then 3 against each other next weekend (almost like Selig planned it that way).  The major factor (I hope) is that the Sox, with the best home record in the AL, have all 7 at home, whereas the Yanks are on the road for the final 7.  We’ll see how it pans out.

Update:  Well it looks like the BoSox and Jays are rained out.  Postponed until tomorrow, day/night doubleheader.  I was almost mad.  Except that the starters are Wakefield and Schilling.  Back to back.  How bad is that going to fuck with Toronto’s batters?  It’ll be like driving in school zones all day and then on the autobahn later that night.  Go sox.
