game…meh. Pats fan. Didn’t care. Seattle got its share of haterism from the zebras, but all in all the game was theirs to win and they blew it with poor playcalling and poorer execution.
Commercials overall were good. I declare Bud Lite the winner. They came out strong with the “Magic Fridge”, the Bear, and the guys are the roof. Money well spent.
The Michelob Ultra commercial where the guy tackles the hell out of the chick…also very funny.
Sprint/Nextel “Crime Deterrent” phone. LMAO.
Another good one, Fedex Cave Man commercial. Hilarious.
Not funny, but very well done, was the Budweiser one in the stadium with the fans holding signs for the beer, and the glass, and the pour, and the drink. That was awesome effects.
And who could forget McGyver? Priceless.
The losers? Pepsi. All around dumbass commercials for diet pepsi. The jackie chan one…stupid. The puff daddy one? Stupid. Waste of money IMO.
H3 “it’s a little monster” commercial? WTF? seriously…wtf? I was dumbfounded by that miscarriage of a creative concept.
How about the Leonard Nimoy Alleve commercial? Could you be more boring? This is the big game! The show! You’re paying a billionty dollars for a superbowl spot…why waste your money and our time with a boring, non-creative, waste of a 30 second spot? The fans expect more. Super Bowl commercial time is a nationwide event. One would think that a dumbass commercial would have just the opposite effect, in that people will now think that your brand is boring and your company stupid for spending the money on a terrible super bowl spot. Maybe it’s just me.
Same goes for Sierra Mist, Ford, Pizza Hut, and Full Throttle. Waste of money.
Oh, and Full Throttle…”Let your man out”? That’s your tag line for the ad? Funny side effect of that ill-conceived slogan…millions of men gave brief thought to pulling out their peckers just then. GG.
Anyway…Bud Lite pwned all in commercials. Also, I hate the Steelers…so gg Seattle in proving to be Super Bowl n00bs.
